BEFORE TESTING
[ ] Record source / destination, direction and the exact tested configuration.
[ ] Define representative data, connector versions and test ownership.
[ ] Agree acceptance thresholds and how each result will be measured.
[ ] Keep production changes outside the trial unless explicitly approved.

TRANSFER AND CORRECTNESS
[ ] Verify expected values, timestamps, ordering and file integrity.
[ ] Test normal traffic, bursts and large payloads.
[ ] Measure source-to-destination latency and sustained usable throughput.
[ ] Check how missing, duplicate and out-of-order data are reported.
[ ] Distinguish local proxy acknowledgements from remote delivery evidence.

BOUNDARY AND FAILURE BEHAVIOUR
[ ] Verify that reverse transfer is unavailable through the intended one-way path.
[ ] Review management connections and any other paths separately.
[ ] Disconnect and restore the link; record buffering, drops and replay behaviour.
[ ] Test agreed restart / power failure cases and destination unavailability.
[ ] Confirm stale-data indicators and operational alerts.

RESULTS
[ ] Record evidence, passes, failures and configuration changes.
[ ] Document residual risks and unmet requirements.
[ ] Agree remediation, retesting and deployment acceptance.
